Telios: Leadership Orientation Program

July 13th-18th

Urban Adventure

This service-focused program will spend the first two days working in the heart of downtown San Francisco. We will be working with multiple organizations in the Tenderloin neighborhood that has become home to toe low income and homeless community of San Francisco. We'll be learning about the history of the Tenderloin, speaking with community members, and serving alongside our peers.

Outdoor Recreation

The Recreation based trip will explore the bay area doing different recreational activities such as: kayaking, hiking, Alcatraz night tour, camping (one night), American River service clean up, and Whitewater Rafting (American River). This program will join the Urban Adventure program each day for some fun team building, leadership, and Cal Lutheran services / programs discussion.

Both trips will be traveling, living, and meeting together throughout the week and will end their experience with a 2-day camping experience that will include an ecological clean-up along a riverbed and white water rafting before returning to campus. We look forward to creating bonds, making memories, and preparing you to become a Cal Lutheran leader.
