What is left in the wake of war? In the ruins of Troy, we meet the “collateral damage” – the wives, mothers and innocents grieving for their lost soldiers. Euripides gives us a powerful and poetic commentary on the nature of war and its aftermath. Though written 2,500 years ago, the production could easily be set in modern-day Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan or any other country plagued by violent confrontations large and small. Can we be civilized and still wage war?
Admission is $10; free with CLU ID.
