“Chinese Take-Away” (2011) is an Argentinean movie that deals with the clash of two cultures (Argentinean and Chinese) as well as two very different individuals.
"Chinese Take-Away" is about overcoming prejudice and understanding human nature even when verbal communication seems impossible to achieve. The movie is about the relationship between a methodical Argentinean hardware store owner and a Chinese immigrant searching for his uncle in Buenos Aires.
This movie is part of the International Film Festival from the Department of Languages and Culture and the CEJ's Reel Justice Film series.
