Profile
Chris Brown earned his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in 2004. He is interested in many applications of mathematics, from environmental modeling to signal analysis. His primary field of interest is dynamical systems on symmetric networks and their use in mathematical ecology; additionally, he is interested in applications of probability theory in both mathematical biology and in options pricing. Outside of the classroom, Dr. Brown enjoys playing the guitar, mandolin, and ukulele, spending time with his family, and contemplating life's lessons with his cat.
