Leah Kolt, M.M.A.

Ms. Kolt is the owner of Kolt Communications in Camarillo, CA., which provides Internet marketing communications for clients in retail, agriculture, medical, law, scientific/technical and other fields. Services include enhancing Web content through SEO (search engine optimization) writing.
She is also the editor of WineCountryGourmet.net, which showcases the food & wine of California's Central Coast. She tweets about wine and food at www.twitter.com/winegourmet and has written a number of articles for Wine Country This Week.
As Director of Public Affairs at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA, from 2003 to 2010, she promoted one of California's premier public universities. She and her team won numerous awards for their public relations efforts and electronic communications.
In Colorado, Ms. Kolt served as Director of Public Affairs for Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO, from 1997-2003. She and her staff created award-winning publications, and she chaired the campus Web Committee. She also served as president and board member for the Higher Education Association of the Rockies.
For the Westinghouse Electric Corp, where she worked for 10 years, she co-managed a staff of 20 professionals in support of internal & external communications. Ms. Kolt received a corporate stock-option award for community relations and a George Westinghouse award for Total Quality.
She currently serves as a docent for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.
