Reneé Rock teaches entrepreneurship and managerial communcation at CLU. Prior to joining the CLU faculty full-time, she held joint faculty positions at California State University, Northridge and management positions in the technology, aerospace, nonprofit, and venture capital industries.
An award-winning serial entrepreneur, Renee was the 2014 winner of the MITx Global Start-up Competition at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is currently the co-founder of UpLook, a technology company focused in the online fashion industry.
An accomplished innovation strategist, Reneé is well-known for her work developing start-up and growth-stage companies. As managing director of business development for Summit Venture Strategies from 2002 to 2007, she served as interim vice president of marketing and business development at several start-up companies.
Her interests include disruptive technology innovation, big data analytics, investor pitching, early-stage startups, and strategic corporate communications.
