Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plan
|General Info:||The FSA plan year will be changing to a calendar year beginning January 1, 2014. Elections for 2013 will be effective June 1 to December 31, 2013. A separate Open Enrollment will be held November 2013 for the next FSA plan year for calendar year 2014.|
|Eligibility:||Administrators and Faculty with an annual half-time contract or more are eligible for enrollment within the first 30 days of commencing work at California Lutheran University. Staff employees who work 30 hours per week or more are eligible for enrollment the first of the next month after completing 30 days.|
Plan year 2013: June 1, through December 31.
Medical Dependent Coverage;
Uncovered Medical/Dental/Vision expenses;
Child/Elder care expenses;
Annual enrollment only to regular employees;
New employees are eligible to enroll upon initial eligibility;
|Cost:||Contributions are made by the employee on a pre-taxed basis.|
