Information Commons Desk
What we do
Information Specialists and/or student assistants staff the Information Commons desk. We can help you with questions about research using our print and electronic collections, and with formulating searches through our catalog and article databases. If you want help finding books, articles or other resources, come talk to us! Our practice is to help you learn to use your library successfully.
We can also help you with basic technology issues such as getting on the wireless network and using computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc. In-depth technology issues and computer hardware repair may be referred to the Help Desk.
Chat live with Library staff from home or from your dorm room 10 am to 10 pm M-F and 10:15 am – 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please leave your email address and your question in case we cannot respond to you right away.
If you need one-on-one help, contact an Information Specialist to schedule an appointment.

Location
The Pearson Library Information Commons Desk is located on the right side after you walk into the library. We are directly across from the Circulation Desk.
