Involvement Opportunities

We welcome you!

There are numerous opportunities to get involved at CLU. Whether you're interested in classes, music, theater, cultural events, community outreach, or volunteering with students, we have something that is just right for you. CLU thrives because of the support and participation of people just like you who have helped make us a center of the region's cultural and academic life since our founding in 1959.

CLU Community Leaders Association

Business owners, CLU alumni, faculty, staff and community members volunteer their services for Cal Lutheran's Community Leaders Association. Proceeds from the Annual Auction, Golf Tournament and other CLA events provide scholarships and faculty grants. Volunteers are needed to network with and recruit new members, fundraise, generate ideas, organize events, locate resources and host reception tables. Please call University Relations at (805) 493-3151.

KCLU

Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival

The Shakespeare festival draws audiences to the outdoor stage at Kingsmen Park to watch performances given by professional actors and apprentices from across the country. Volunteers construct costumes, create and change scenery, perform clerical duties, and staff ticket and concession booths. Please call (805) 493-3455. www.kingsmenshakespeare.org
