Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership

Available Online and On-campus in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, and Woodland Hills.

The Organizational Leadership major is a dynamic interdisciplinary bachelor's degree that creates effective and proactive leaders by developing their interpersonal, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Through a creative blend of theory and evaluation of application, you will acquire and practice supervision and leadership skills which are applied in organizations such as non-profit agencies, large and small business settings, government agencies, and professional and social services.

Both online and on-campus courses are offered year-round (four terms per year) through our accelerated 11-week terms. Although rigorous, the program's format allows you to complete the major requirements in less than two years.

Once you complete the Organizational Leadership degree, you will have acquired the leadership skills employers value — effective communication, critical thinking, collaborative team building, and complex leadership problem solving. You'll learn:

  • How to become an effective and productive team leader through influence and power
  • How to leverage technology to improve organizational communication and performance
  • How to successfully engage subordinates within culturally diverse environments
  • How to leverage personal strengths to maximize influence
  • How to implement values-based, ethical decision-making practices to support the organization and its stakeholders

Students with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership are prepared for many different careers in profit or not-for-profit organizations in large and small business, community, all levels of government, human services organizations, communications, social sciences, or ministry service settings.
