Profile
"Dr. Dru" Pagliassotti teaches classes in news writing, editing, and Web publishing, as well as one of the Communication Department's senior capstone courses, film theory. She runs The Yaoi Research Wiki and studies boys' love (yaoi) manga and the rise as a discrete publishing niche of the female-authored male/male romance novel.
Dr. Pagliassotti also writes both short stories and novels. She runs The Harrow Press, which prints horror anthologies, and she was the founder and editor in chief of The Harrow, a literary magazine for fantasy and horror that ran online for 11.5 years. Her past professional experience includes editorial work on print books, journals, and trade magazines; freelance Web site design; and serving as a content provider on roleplaying games for About.Com.
