All residential students not living in apartment style residence halls (i.e. Mogen, Grace, or Trinity) are required to have a meal plan. All students can purchase a meal plan through the Residence Life Office and Munch Money through the cafeteria. Compare plans in the chart below to find what's right for you. About Bonus Points
Bonus points work like cash at any of the campus dining locations. For example, if you had the 12+ plan and used up all 12 meals before the end of the week, you could use bonus points on your card to purchase a meal in the Dining Commons, Centrum, Kiosk Café or Mogen Market. Bonus points expire at the end of the school year.
All meal plans, excluding the Bonus Points Plan, include 3 bonus meals per semester. These bonus meals can be used to treat a guest. Your meal plan is non-transferable, so any unused meals at the end of the week are forfeited. Each Monday your meal balance is reset.
Your ID card must be presented each time you enter the dining room to eat. If you lose your ID card, inform the cashier and you will be put on the lost list. You will have 3 days to find your ID card, after which time you will need to purchase a new one. Replacement cards are $15.00.
If you have lost your ID card, please contact Campus Safety and Security in the Welcome Center so that they may issue you a new one. The Campus Security non-emergency phone number is 493-3208.
The Munch Money card is a debit card that may be used to purchase food at the Centrum Cafe, Kiosk Café, Mogen Market and the Dining Commons. Whenever you make a purchase, simply present your card to the cashier and the amount will be deducted from your balance. Simply stop by the campus dining office located in the upper level of the cafeteria and deposit a minimum of $25 into your account.
Sack Lunch Program
No need to miss meals due to class conflicts or jobs. Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 10:00 am, you are invited to pack your own sack lunch or dinner. Upon entering the dining room, inform the cashier that you will be needing a sack lunch or sack dinner and he/she will swipe your card. You can even pack a sack lunch on Friday for Saturday. You will simply need to inform the cashier as to which meal you are packing. Your choices for sack lunches include: two beverages (bottled water, soda, juice), chips, yogurt, muffins, bagels, cookies, whole or cut fruit, sandwiches, and salad.
