Checklist

These are the steps you will need to take to apply to Cal Lutheran and use your VA Benefits. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. Apply for benefits at VA.gov
  2. Complete your Cal Lutheran application for admission
  3. Send transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended
  4. Complete the FAFSA
  5. Submit a VA Education Benefits Certification Request
  6. Turn in the following to the Veterans Coordinator
    • VONAPP Application (22-1990 or 22-5490)
    • DD-214
    • Certificate of Eligibility from the VA
  7. Attend Veterans Orientation
  8. Register for classes
  9. Begin the path to your academic goals!
